Fill out this waiver and turn it into Sherri Pope or Emily Dunn in Athletics OR email it to nrodriguez@psdschools.org prior to the first clinic you attend. You only need to complete this form once and it covers all pre-tryout clinics. Then, sign up for any clinics you plan to attend with the forms below.

Location
The TMHS commons. Athletes will ether through the front doors of the school if they are not already in school from their day time classes.
Cost for all pre-tryout events: FREE!
Wear: Tennis shoes or cheer shoes, athletic shorts and a t shirt or tank top, and hair up with no jewelry or nails over fingertips for safety. Also please wear spandex shorts / compression shorts / nike pro shorts under athletic shorts due to jumping and stunting.

This class is exclusively offered to anyone interested in trying out for cheerleading at Timnath High School or forTimnath cheerleading seniors maintaining their skills for college tryouts.
Location: TMHS Summit Room

This is mandatory for athletes and one parent / guardian who want to tryout for the cheerleading program.

How to enroll: You must pay the district athletic fee to obtain your athletic gold card. A copy of a current physical is required to obtain the gold card along with the fee payment to the district and some paperwork. This must be done ahead of tryouts and the gold card is turned in the day before tryouts begins to the front office to Coach Nikki Rodriguez's mail box. We will explain this in great detail at our parent meeting on April 7th and there will be a checklist for you in our tryout information packet by March 1st.
Dates: Monday, April 13th-Wednesday April 15th from 5:30-8pm.

First tumbling class JV + Varsity: April 22nd
Proven Brand Stunt Clinic, Jr. Cubs Clinic and other critical events will be held June 1st-21st. These are critical dates for development for skills for both teams.
First official practice Varsity: We begin practice in May, schedule to be determined. 8th graders cannot join practice until mid-month.
Varsity Choreography: July 30-31st
Varsity Stunt Clinic June 15-16
Varsity Summer Camp: June 18-22nd
JV Summer Camp: To be determined
Cheer Summer Break - Varsity: June 27th-July 12th (no organized practices for the Varsity team during this time, tumbling and Pursuit performance training will still be offered)

Step one for registering for tryouts is filling out the form below. This form does not commit you to trying out but it does notify us to include you in tryout communication and to follow up with you about paperwork. You can always be asked to be removed from this list if you choose not to tryout after attending pre-tryout events!
