THE TIMNATH MIDDLE SCHOOL CHEERLEADING CLUB IS HERE!

What is the goal of the Timnath Middle School Cheerleading Club?

The goal of the cheerleading club will be to engage students at Timnath Middle School and teach them leadership skills, how to be an effective fan and sideline supporter at Middle School athletic events, and to develop skills that are helpful for a transition to high school cheerleading in the future.

When will the Timnath Middle School Cheerleading Club practice?

We will have practice on Thursdays during ELO on days school is in session starting November 14th. Members must be in good academic standing to attend Cheerleading Club from week to week as this does replace one day per week of time where academic help could be received.

Is there a cost to join the Middle School Cheerleading Club?

We will have a small fee ($30) to cover a shirt and some spirit items for the middle school club. We are open to future fundraising opportunities for more equipment and collateral for our cheerleading club as well!

Who will run the Middle School Cheerleading Club?

The club is a district approved staff-led club that will be lead by Nikki Rodriguez, the head cheerleading coach at Timnath Middle High School. There will be assistant coaches and THS cheerleaders who assist with the club week to week as well!

What should I wear to a Club practice?

Tennis shoes and athletic clothing! Similar to what you would wear to PE class. Always bring a water bottle, too!

How can I sign up to join the Cheerleading Club?

If you would like to sign up we need a waiver filled out by the student and their parent / guardian, as well as the form below completed!  TO JOIN THE CLUB, FILL OUT THE FORM BELOW AND PLEASE FILL OUT A WAIVER AND TURN IT INTO THE OFFICE NO LATER THAN NOVEMBER 13TH.
